Do Not Drink … Gamble!

November 15th, 2009 at 3:21

If you enjoy having a a cocktail occasionally, leave your cash at home if you are going to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your handbag, your money belt, and leave all cash, plastic credit and checks at home. Take whatever cash you anticipate to use on beverages, tips and only the pocket change you anticipate to lose and leave the remainder behind.

Contemptuous? Not really. Just realistic. You may well experience a win after a drunken evening out with your buddies and be blessed sufficiently to catch a 25 minute roll at a smokin craps table. Hang on to that account because it’s as short-lived as it gets if you continuously consume alcohol and wager. The pair just do not mix.

Leaving your money out of the casino is a bit drastic, but preventative measures for drastic behavior is essential. If you gamble to profit, then do not consume alcohol and play. If you like to toss aside your assets nary a concern, then drink all the free beer your stomach can handle, but do not carry charge cards and checks to throw into the mix of going after squanderings after your befuddled self throws away every little thing!

Let me to take this a single step more. do not drink and then jump on the net to play in your preferred casino either. I love to beer from the comfort of my apartment, but considering that I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep credit cards in close proximity, I can not consume alcohol and gamble.

How come? Even though I do not drink to excess, when I consume alcohol, it is absolutely sufficient to blur my better judgment. I bet, so I don’t drink alcohol when wagering. If you are more of a drinker, do not bet at the same time. When mixed, both create a dangerous, and crazy, drink.
