Do Not Drink … Gamble!

November 9th, 2021 at 20:25

If you enjoy having a a cocktail occasionally, keep your money out of the casino if you plan to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Leave your pocketbook, your billfold, and keep all money, plastic credit and cheques at home. Grab only the money you anticipate to use on refreshments, tipping and few dollars you anticipate to throw away and leave the remainder behind.

Pessimistic? Not by any means. Just realistic. You might experience a win following a boozy evening out with your acquaintances and be blessed sufficiently to hit a long toss at a smokin craps game. Hang on to that account because it’s as short-lived as it gets if you consistently drink and gamble. These activities simply don’t mix.

Keeping your money out of the casino might be a bit drastic, but preventative actions for excessive behavior is required. If you gamble to succeed, then do not consume alcohol and bet. If you like to toss away your money without a concern, then drink all the no charge booze you can handle, but don’t pack credit cards and chequebooks to toss into the mix of chasing losses after your dead drunk head throws away all the cash!

Let me to carry this 1 step more. Don’t consume alcohol and then go on the net to bet in your favorite online casino either. I love to beer from the comfort of my abode, however seeing that I am linked up through Neteller, Firepay and have plastic credit in close proximity, I can’t consume alcohol and gamble.

Why? Even though I don’t drink alcohol to excess, once I consume alcohol, it is absolutely sufficient to blur my common sense. I bet, so I don’t consume alcohol when gambling. If you are a drinker, don’t gamble when you do. Both make for a dangerous, and expensive, cocktail.
