November 23rd, 2015 at 1:21There is an interesting history to the Cambodia gambling halls that reside just over the dividing line from next door Thailand, where gambling den gambling is against the law. Eight gambling halls are situated in a relatively tiny space in the city of Poipet in Cambodia. This band of Cambodia casinos is in an excellent location, a three to 4 hour travel from Bangkok and Macao, the two largest betting locations in Asia. Cambodia gambling dens do a thriving business with Thai workers and visitors from Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, and Singapore, with just a couple of Westerners. The amazing income accrued from the casinos ranges from $7.5 million to more than 12.5 million dollars, and there are a couple of restrictions requirements for casino ownership. Ownership is presumed to be mostly Thai; however, financing sources are cryptic. The borders are officially open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and though visas are allegedly required to cross, there are methods and means around this, as is accurate of most borders.
