Don’t Drink … Gamble!

July 5th, 2024 at 11:25

If you enjoy having a a beverage from time to time, keep your money out of the casino if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Leave your pocketbook, your money belt, and leave all money, credit cards and checkbooks back at the hotel. Take whatever cash you intend to use on refreshments, tipping and only the pocket change you anticipate to squander and keep the remainder behind.

Contemptuous? Absolutely not. Realistic more like. You might have a profit after a boozy evening out with your acquaintances and be lucky enough to hook a long roll at a hot craps game. Hang on to that story considering that it’s as brief as it gets if you always drink and bet. The pair just do not go well together.

Keeping your cash back at the hotel is a little bit drastic, but preventative actions for dramatic actions is a requirement. If you wager to win, then don’t consume alcohol and play. If you are able to afford to blow your money nary a concern, then drink all the free beer your stomach are able to handle, but do not carry plastic credit and checkbooks to throw into the mix of following losses after your dead drunk brain throws away all the cash!

Allow me to take this a single step further. Don’t drink and then head on the internet to wager in your best-liked casino either. I enjoy a beverage from the comfort of my abode, however considering that I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and have plastic credit at my fingertips, I can’t drink alcohol and wager.

Why? Despite the fact that I don’t drink alcohol a lot, once I drink, it’s absolutely sufficient to cloud my better judgment. I wager, so I do not drink when gambling. If you are more of a drinker, do not bet at the same time. When mixed, both create a decimating, and costly, cocktail.
